It's been almost a year and I've not managed to burn down the building/flood the building/demolish the building/fall out with any neighbours, yet...
It has however taken me this long to actually sort my life out and decorate. I'm still not done. I am the Queen of procrastination. I am enlisting the help of my uncle within the next month to give me a hand with boxing in pipes, and hanging up mirrors/curtain poles. I have walls made of plasterboard (I think?) and Kate trying to hang things so far, even using plugs designed for this, has not worked.
I put up a coat rack, I put a coat on said coat rack, it fell out of the wall. I gave up, and here we still are...
This bank holiday weekend I decided to undertake that most British of tasks... d̶r̶i̶n̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ DIY.
I know, I'm shocked too...
This weekend I actually went and bought the paint and decided to crack on with it. Only took 9 months... Pretty rapid for me. I managed to have a shelf collapse on me and cover myself with paint, but in the process my hallway now looks so much happier.
As such I thought I'd do a before-present of where I am with my flat. It's not quite finished as, like I said, I have boxing in to do and curtain poles/curtains to hang, but it's pretty much there and I am so in love.
(Left is Day 1 when I moved in. Right is today)

NB: Please don't judge the edges, they need tidying up and I can't paint to save my life, ahaha.
